A few years ago Professor Bertha K. Madras directed creation of a Museum exhibit, a CD (licensed by Disney Corp. 2006) and play at the Museum of Science, Boston titled “Changing your Mind: Drugs in the Brain”.
What a timely title when discussing the criticism by NORML & aliae of President Obama and the Administration´s stance on marijuana.
At the 41st annual NORML national conference in Los Angeles, Stephen Gutwillig, Deputy Executive Director of the pro-drug Drug Policy Alliance, said “We have every right to be enraged at the Obama administration. They knew what the right thing to do on medical marijuana policy in this country was, and they’ve broken their promise in so many different ways. We have every reason to feel betrayed by this president.”
Dear Mr. Gutwillig, President Obama has obviously changed his mind about what drugs can do to the brain. As for NORML & aliae is seems that drugs in their brains have changed their minds rather than changed their minds about what drugs can do to their brains.
