Dhaka Ahsania Mission: Operational Preparedness for Tackling Physical and Psychological Burden of COVID19

In the present context, Health Sector of Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM), Bangladesh, has been conducting trainings to ensure dissemination of facts regarding COVID19, adequate preparedness during the pandemic and enhancement of the efficiency of health workers. In continuation of this, and with the support from SANJOG – a network of drug addiction treatment and rehabilitation centers in Bangladesh, DAM has organized online training on “Operational Preparedness for Tackling Physical and Psychological Burden of COVID19” for addiction professionals and other treatment and rehabilitation center management staff. A total of 75 participants took part in the training.
Moreover, DAM developed operational guideline for drug addiction treatment and rehabilitation centers during COVID-19. Please see the link for more activities on COVID 19 https://www.amic.org.bd/updated-information-on-covid-19/
The participants of the training were provided a certificate of participation following the sessions. Also DAM Health Sector provided the participants from each center a full set of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) free of cost.
