Asia Pacific Forum Against Drugs: APFAD-WFAD @ Singapore the 7-8th of November 2019.
The Forum “Prevention through partnerships and Community Action – for a World Without Drugs” was hosted 7-8th November in Singapore. The forum was a joint affair with Singapore’s National Council Against Drug Abuse (NCADA).

The Forum discussed how organizations can develop a structured and holistic harm prevention approach, as well as how to spur, scale and sustain community action in your country. It will also be an important meeting to demonstrate solidarity within the Anti-Drug community in Asia, to share trends and best practices with one another.

The collaborating partner NCADA funded the costs of the Forum, which was well attended by civil society representatives and authorities from the region. The Forum received positive feedback from council members and staff members of NCADA of the joint project. The media coverage was wide, and Minister Josephine Teo opened the forum.
