CONGO, A NATION WITHOUT DRUG is a project of the non-profit organization OPADEC in order to fight against the abusive consumption of alcohol and drugs, the prevention of addictions especially in young people through several activities but also the treatment and psychosocial burden of individuals and families affected by the effects of alcohol and drugs.
Overall objective
Promote public health and safety through the prevention and fight against illicit drugs, alcohol abuse and tobacco consumption within communities.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
• Build treatment or detoxification centres for alcohol and drugs in all the provinces of DR Congo.
• Inform, educate and raise awareness among adolescents and young people about disorders related to the consumption of psychoactive substances
• create and install anti-drug coalitions for each province
• Strengthen the capacities of members of anti-drug coalitions
• Build anti-drug coalitions in grassroots communities
• Support the development and implementation of a national, provincial and community anti-drug plan
• Carry out implementation follow-up actions.
• Create frameworks for discussion, education and psycho-social and health care in relation to addiction.
The different activities are:
• raising awareness of the harmful effects of alcohol and drugs in the body, family and society.
• counselling for people who want to voluntarily quit with alcohol and drugs.
• Psycho-social and medical care for people affected by alcohol and drugs

• reintegration aftercare and family counselling.
• Construction of detoxification centres for drug addicts.

CONGO, UNE NATION SANS DROGUE est un projet de l’ASBL OPADEC afin de lutte contre la consommation abusive de l’alcool et de la drogue, la prévention des dépendances surtout en milieu jeune à travers plusieurs activités mais aussi le traitement et la prise en charge psycho-sociale de personnes et familles affectées par les effets de l’alcool et de la drogue.
Objectif global
Promouvoir la santé et la sécurité publique à travers la prévention et la lutte contre les drogues illicites, l’abus d’alcool et la consommation du tabac au sein des communautés.
OBJECTIFS SPECIFIQUES
• construire des centres de prise en charge ou de désintoxication pour alcool et drogue dans toutes les provinces de la RD Congo.
• Informer, éduquer et sensibiliser les adolescents et jeunes sur les troubles liés à la consommation des substances psychoactives
• créer et installer des coalisation anti-drogue pour chaque province
• Renforcer les capacités des membres des coalitions anti-drogue
• Mettre en place de coalitions anti-drogue dans les communautés à la base
• Appuyer l’élaboration et la mise en œuvre d’un plan national, provincial et communautaire anti-drogue
• Réaliser les actions de suivi de la mise en œuvre.
• Créer des cadres d’échange, d’éducation et de prise en charge psycho-sociale et sanitaire en rapport avec l’addiction.
Les différentes activités sont :
• la sensibilisation sur les effets néfastes de l’alcool et de la drogue dans le corps, la famille, la société.
• counseling aux personnes voulant volontairement stopper avec l’alcool et la drogue.
• Prise en charge psycho-sociale et médicale de personnes affectés par l’alcool et la drogue
