Since 1969, the Hassela movement has had the privilege of meeting hundreds of young adults who have managed to turn their lives from exclusion to becoming part of society.

What

Many young adults in our cities lack a platform where they can have the opportunity to develop their visions. We want to change this. We want to train young adults between the ages of 16 - 29 to be Children / Youth Coaches. The coach's role is to be a leader, role model and networker who in turn can influence other young people in a positive direction.

Who

We turn to young adults who are in an unemployed situation or lack employment and who have an interest in working in, for example, childcare, school and leisure activities.

Why

We see young adults as a huge force and source of knowledge. Therefore, we want to open up the opportunity for young adults to develop their leadership and at the same time influence the city as positive role models. We need to make these forces visible and shift focus from problems and instead find solutions.

How

Through an education package, we want to give young adults the opportunity to work with other people that hopefully lead to work or study.
