Slum child foundation is a registered non profit making organization, under the ministry of gender and social services that works with children and youths in the slums and streets of Nairobi, Kenya, on different thematic areas caused as a result of high rate of poverty in these slums.

Thematic areas targeted include but not limited to Drug and substance abuse which is the main factor that leads to other factors affecting our targeted beneficiaries, HIV/AIDS, crime, school drop out, girl child education, teenage pregnancy and Marriage just but to mention a few.

We address these challenges through community outreach programs i.e. running school based clubs, organizing annual forums and talks for in and out of school groups, organizing recreational activities for street children and rehabilitation referrals which seek to empower and sensitize our targeted beneficiaries.

We partner and collaborate with government bodies, local organization and international organizations in our work.
