Uganda Youth Development Link (UYDEL) is a non-governmental organization founded in 1993 with a Vision: “A transformed society where young people live a good quality of life free from exploitation”. UYDEL mission is “To enhance socio-economic transformation of disadvantaged young people (10-24 years) through skills development for self-reliance”. UYDEL programs focus on Alcohol, drug and substance abuse prevention; Alcohol policy lobbying and advocacy interventions; HIV/AIDS prevention, care and support; Child Protection including combating child trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation of children; Prevention, rehabilitation and re-integration of children engaged in worst forms of child labour; Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health programme; Vocational skills, business skills and livelihoods training and apprenticeship and economic empowerment to families; Care and support to Orphans and Vulnerable Children in the districts of Kampala, Wakiso, and Mukono.
