Stijena is a NGO from Zagreb, Croatia. It is established in 2001 as an answer to personal and family problems connected with drug abuse. It cooperates with different NGO-s and governmental organizations, hospitals, prisons and schools. We do motivational workshops in hospitals and prisons, prevention programme based on authentic individual experience in schools, and help drug addicts on their way back to society- social integration. The work of Stijena is mainly located in Zagreb and few other places in northern part of Croatia, but it helps addicts from different parts of Croatia too, and connects different organizations in the country.. The goal is to build a network that will help population of drug addicts to start a whole new life, free of any kind of addiction. We also work on international cooperation, mainly in Western Balkan region, but also in different regions of Europe through work of EURAD and RUN network.
