The Soberlife Mentorship is an initiative by young volunteers whose objective is to mentor the community into positive, responsible and progressive lifestyles. We conduct mentorship sessions in schools, churches, slums, prisons, government and non-governmental institutions across Kenya. Our activities focus on family and social challenges of the emerging generation. Having gone through the shackles of drug addiction, backstreet lifestyle and juvenile rebellion, Paul the initiator is a success story of a transformed delinquent who graduated from the United States International University in 2008 and now uses his experiences to mentor youth and general community about the adverse effects negative habits that drag development. Paul is a Real Life Resource Person of the Government’s National Campaign against Drug Abuse (NACADA) with outreaches in Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Turkey and Germany. Soberlife is a member of the Street Children and Youth Organization Network a platform for furthering the welfare of street-living and other vulnerable children.
