AFDETO (Africa Foundation for Development and Tolerance) is a non profit national organization, operating in Zimbabwe as Trust and managed by a board of trustees. AFDETO promotes prevention of illicit drugs use and substance /prescription drug abuse by youths, women and workers.The Trust is motivated by the zeal to bring to as many youths in Zimbabwe and Africa a better regard of themselves and others, and a finer view on life terms of morals, leadership and character building.
VISION - A ZIMBABWE WHERE YOUTHS,WOMEN AND WORKERS ARE EMPOWERED TO MAKE AND WELLNESS DECISIONS AND AVOID SUBSTANCE ABUSE OR ILLICIT DRUGS USE.
MISSION - TO UNDERTAKE AND DELIVER EFFECTIVE SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND ILLICIT DRUG USE PREVENTION PROGRAMMES IN ZIMBABWE AND AFRICA.
GOAL - TO ENSURE A ZIMBABWE WHERE YOUTHS,WOMEN AND WORKERS ARE EDUCATED AND PROTECTED FROM DANGERS OF DRUG ABUSE THEREFORE HELPING THEM TO LIVE FULFILLED, HEALTHY,DRUG FREE LIVES.
