The Jorge Jaber Clinic operates in Vargem Pequena, in Rio de Janeiro, offering personalized treatment for the most diverse types of diagnoses of mental disorders and chemical dependency, for alcohol and drug users and their families

For over 20 years, Clínica Jorge Jaber, affiliated with the World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH), has been active in the prevention and treatment of mental health involving four interconnected areas:

1. Prevention - It must be the first step in dealing with drugs. With this in mind, our clinic has developed a program of lectures given in schools, community chambers, churches, as well as the Empresa Program, which consists of clarifying the harm caused by the use of chemicals and alcohol for all employees of the institution.
2. Treatment - We offer treatment for all types of psychopathologies (depression, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), obesity, anorexia, bulimia, schizophrenia etc.) and chemical dependency (smoking, alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, inhalants etc.) ), be conducted at the primary (prevention and information), secondary (diffusion of prevention mechanisms) and tertiary (focal patient treatment) levels.
3. Teaching - Clínica Jorge Jaber regularly maintains the Training Course for Psychotherapists and Counselors in Chemical Dependence. We also developed the Continuing Education Program (PEC) for professionals already inserted in the market who want to recycle, improving their professional performance and care for their patients.
4. Research - In order to improve the quality of its services and the care of its patients, Clínica Jorge Jaber conducts research for the development of new treatment methods, and the results of these works are regularly presented at national and international scientific congresses.
