The Drug Free Arewa movement is a movement of young people and civil society groups within 19 Northern States and the F.C.T. advocating and leading anti-drug abuse and fight against trafficking of illicit substances in the region. Drugs are robbing our future in the North, every hour a teenager experiment with illicit drugs for the first time. Trumphant Youth Foundation (TYF) in collaboration with Arewa Young Leaders Initiative (AYLI), Mamman Marshal Foundation (MMF), Muhammadu Anchau Foundation (MAF), Global Collective Action Against Drug Abuse Initiative (GCAADAI) and partners are coordinating the largest non-governmental intervention/prevention anti-drug crusade to help the young people live life without drugs.

VISION: DFAM is aimed at taking the lead in reducing or preventing the use of illicit substances through engaging all stakeholders (traditional leaders, religious leaders, CSOs, NGOs, governments, youth organisations, etc.) thereby ensuring a prosperous and drug free arewa.

MISSION: DFAM works to reduce or prevent the abuse and trafficking of drugs and illicit substances in Northern Nigeria through the implementation of its well-researched and tested programmes.
