Youth Aid Education and Possible Changes Organization (YAPO) is a nongovernmental organization committed to sustainable community development. YAPO was established in 2016 and registered in 2017 to support vulnerable children and youth in the local community. YAPO main program is to prevent child/youth sexual abuse, violence and exploitation, and youth democracy and governance. Main areas of intervention include prevention of young women engaging in prostitution, prevention of child marriage, promoting girl’s dignity by empowering them in education and economically, protection of child domestic workers and child trafficking and we supporting people with disabilities and sensitize on environmental protection, conservation and hygiene and environment conservation. In this reporting period 2021 YAPO was implementing and leading projects in Kilwa district targeting empowering girls and youth to have an independent sustainable economy
