56-year-old British citizen Lindsay Sandiford sentenced to death in Indonesia for drug trafficking

The sentencing to death by firing squad of Lindsay Sandiford, a 56-year-old British grandmother for drug trafficking, has been condemned as “cruel in the extreme”, as the Foreign Office said it strongly objected to the penalty.
