As reported by The Washington Post, U.S. Attorney General, Eric Holder, today said that “The FBI is coordinating with the Justice Department to see if any laws were broken in connection with those matters related to the IRS. We are examining the facts to see if there were criminal violations.” This comes only a few days after the IRS on Friday disclosed that officials had selected groups with the names “tea party” and “patriot” that had applied for tax exempt status for additional review.
It only took Holder four days to launch an investigation, coordinated by the FBI, “to see if any laws were broken“.
How come that it has taken months for Holder & Co. to see if any laws have been broken in connection with the legalization of marijuana in Colorado and Washington?
