World leaders – for whom?

According to CNBC Kofia Annan says, “Drug use is not down. It’s time for a different approach. Drugs have destroyed many people, and the wrong government and policies have destroyed many people.”
He is correct when talking about a “different approach”. Legalizing marijuana is definitely a “different approach”, and a bad one we don´t need. If Annan & same sort colleagues are presented to us as world leaders we had better look around for other people who would earn to be called world leaders. True world leaders don´t want to poison their citizens by a “different approach” aimed at legalizing drugs.
