A proposed study about using marijuana to treat veterans with post traumatic stress disorder has been stopped by Senator Kimberley Yee. Senator Yee prefers spending the medical marijuana card money on a public service announcement campaign urging kids not to smoke pot, according to local media. The promotion of snake oil [wrongly called “medical”] cards are just part of the “journey” from prohibition via medicalization, and normalization to full-blown legalization. The pathetic presentations of various, if not all, possible diseases to be “treated” with marijuana have one aim – to soften the stance against full-blown legalization of marijuana.
