Today we had the displeasure of learning about the lack of knowledge about drugs among 18 Members of the U.S. Congress. In a letter to President Obama, the 18 Members state that lives and resources are wasted on enforcing harsh, unrealistic, and unfair marijuana laws.
However dear Members, the harsh truth, if you want to be realistic and fair, is that lives and resources are wasted because of drug use, not because of the laws. Until you understand that we recommend you not to send another letter to the President.
