Rocío Suárez Ordoñez is a psychologist, Chair of Membership and Innovation of the Global Women’s Network for Providers of Women´s Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery, and a consultant at the University of North Carolina Women’s Health Research Center.
She is a Master Trainer of the Women’s Intervention for Substance Exposure: Comprehensive Care for Substance Use Disorder (WISE) curriculum and Training of Trainers (ToT) Curriculum and is certified in Prolonged Exposure Therapy for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. She is also a member of the Global Gender Committee of the World Federation Against Drugs. In addition, she has published scientific papers on trauma and substance use disorders.
