Johnny's Ambassadors Youth Marijuana Prevention is a non-profit based in Denver, Colorado. Laura Stack founded Johnny’s Ambassadors after her 19-year-old son, Johnny, died by suicide after becoming psychotic from dabbing high-potency THC concentrates. They educate parents, teens, and communities about the dangers of today’s high-THC marijuana on adolescent brain development, psychosis, and suicide. Johnny's Ambassadors provides an online marijuana curriculum, facilitator materials, prevention magazines, social media campaigns, one sheets, posters, graphics, and other educational resources to schools, coalitions, and prevention specialists. Laura Stack speaks for drug prevention conferences, community groups, and schools about the harms of youth marijuana use. Johnny’s story has been told in People Magazine, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Epoch Times, the Ingraham Angle, the Untold Story with Martha MacCallum, and PBS. Laura is the author of The Dangerous Truth About Today’s Marijuana: Johnny Stack’s Life and Death Story.
