Gracy Minds Empowerment Initiative Uganda is a registered, not-for-profit, community-led organization committed to promoting mental health, psychosocial support, and substance abuse prevention across Uganda. Since our founding in May 2023, we have worked at the grassroots level to break stigma, raise awareness, and provide care for individuals and communities impacted by mental health challenges and drug or alcohol abuse.
Our addiction-focused work includes delivering behavioral change education, peer support training, and referrals for people struggling with substance use especially in high-risk areas such as urban slums, schools, and youth communities. We integrate mental health care and drug prevention into our outreach through school programs, sports galas, counseling centers, and advocacy initiatives.
We believe mental health and substance abuse prevention are deeply interconnected, and our holistic, community-based approach empowers people to make informed, healthy choices for a better future.
