This weekend 40 000 people gathered in Reggio di Calabria to protest and march against the Calabrian mafia – ‘Ndrangheta. The march, organized by the local paper Il Quotidiano, is an excellent initiative for which the paper should be commended. Interestingly enough, a majority of the participants in the march were young people who realize that mafia rule shouldn´t rule.
