On Thursday the European Court of Justice ruled that the Maastricht City Council in the Netherlands was not breaking European law when it tried to stop non-residents from buying cannabis in the city´s coffee shops.
The ruling by the court will now make it possible for a nationwide introduction of a “wietpas”.
