According to new research, Dutch drivers are more often under the influence of drugs when driving than in any other country in the European Union.

According to the Dutch SWOV the number of Dutch people driving under the influence of cannabis is about one third higher than in any other of the 27 member states of the European Union. The number of Dutch drivers under the influence of amphetamines is also higher than the European average.

However, fewer Dutch drivers are driving under the influence of alcohol than their European colleagues.
