Oakland moved to double the city’s medical marijuana dispensaries Wednesday, but a federal crackdown on the industry has cast doubt on whether any new dispensaries will be opening anytime soon, Mercury News reports.
This is encouraging news. The snake oil “medical” marijuana bu$ine$$ is encountering more and more hurdles thanks to the federal crackdown and increasing public awareness about the real motives of the marijuana bu$ine$$.
Marijuana “entrepreneurs” are prepared to take a few risks to promote their business and make money from their “patients”, BUT they are not prepared to go to prison. Hence they hesitate to become the target of federal raids. Consequently, federal raids should continue and increase with the ultimate goal of getting rid of the snake oil marijuana industry.
I get comments that ex-presidents support decriminalisation and/or legalisation together with thousands of politicians, law enforcement people, business people and others. So what? Please keep in mind that a bad idea remains a bad idea regardless of what kind of people, and how many people support it. History provides several examples of lunatics promoting ideas that were supported by thousands and even millions of people. But, again, a bad idea is a bad idea regardless of how many people support it.
