Ethan ”Drug Policy Alliance” Nadelmann was recently in Austin, Texas telling anybody who wanted to listen about what he terms the ”failed war on drugs”. As usual, Nadelmann forgot to tell the audience that he and his pals are part of the drug problem. Advocating legalisation of marijuana, which he and his pals do, does not reduce drug use. On the contrary, it increases use. It is like fighting crime at the same time as being a criminal.

Nadelmann travels the world preaching his message about the “failed war”. Maybe some people are impressed by his academic degrees or his connection to George Soros and his likes. Nevertheless, a bad idea, such as legalisation of marijuana (and all other drugs except crack as proposed by Soros), isn´t rocket science. It is not science at all. Luckily enough, ordinary people not doing drugs, know better than self-appointed experts , such as Nadelmann, that legalisation of drugs will increase harm, not reduce harm.
