Grabación Disponible: Seminario Web en Espanol – Recordings Available of WFAD’s Spanish Webinar

On October 20th, we successfully hosted our first-ever webinar in Spanish, marking an important milestone in our commitment to strengthen international cooperation and promoting effective, family- and community-based approaches to drug prevention, treatment, and recovery across Latin America.

Titled “Family and Community Approaches to Drug Use: Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery in Latin America”, the webinar brought together an outstanding panel of experts and participants from across the region, including representatives from international and regional networks, such as the UNODC and CICAD, as well as civil society representatives, such as Red Preventina and Associação Pró Coalizões Comunitárias Antidrogas do Brasil. The speakers shared valuable exchange of experiences, knowledge, and perspectives on the essential role of families, communities, civil society organisations, and public institutions in developing comprehensive responses to drug-related challenges.

The webinar was moderated by Esteban Wood and finalised by Iván Alvarado, WFAD Board members representing Latin America.

This first Spanish-language webinar represents an important step toward expanding WFAD’s engagement with Spanish-speaking communities and strengthening connections among professionals, organisations, and leaders working to advance prevention, treatment, and recovery throughout Latin America.
