Dirty business – Getting paid to gather signatures for pot legalization

It only happens in America! In the U.S. you can obviously get paid for collecting signatures to legalize pot. Making people running around to gather signatures could be an extra source of income – provided you get paid. However, backers of a ballot measure that would legalize and tax marijuana sales in Oregon didn’t pay some of their petition circulators, shorting them thousands of dollars in pay. Bad luck for those who expected to earn some money for promoting activities in violation of U.S. federal law. Never trust a drug legalizer!
