Uruguay and legalization of pot

Potheads definitely don´t miss a chance to promote legalization of pot. This week lawmakers in Uruguay introduced to Congress a proposal to regulate the production, sale and consumption of pot. The proposal is no more and no less than outright legalization, supported by U.S. promoters of drug legalization. Hopefully a majority of the members of Congress are clever enough to realize that full legalization of pot will attract organized crime, large-scale pot producers and result in social problems in a country that already faces more compelling challenges than legalization of pot.
