Not very much. Having listened to his performance at the HASC Committee hearing and elsewhere, I am not a bit impressed. The fact that he might have used drugs himself doesn´t make him an expert. Maybe he is used by Soros & Nadelmann Ltd. as some kind of pop face advocating a liberal stance toward drugs – decrim and/or legalization. If so,it is a miserable effort as is the December 7th exercise at the UN Plaza in New York featuring another two well-known legalisers – Ethan Nadelmann and “fifth columnist” Mike Trace who was fired from UNODC. These guys are doing whatever they can to promote legalization of drugs. However, owning airplanes, being a pot smoker or a disgraced civil servant at the UNODC doesn´t make them experts on drugs. You are entitled to disregard their views as their proposals will result in harm production rather than harm reduction.
