Portugal: 159 psychoactive substances banned

Yesterday the new law regulating 159 psychoactive substances was published in Diário da República. Consequently, it is now prohibited to produce, import, export, advertise, distribute, sell, possess or make
available 159 psychoactive substances.

According to the new law everyone who makes a living of this has 15 days to deliver all the products they handle to GNR or PSP (Portuguese police). If they don´t, an individual can be fined between 750 and 3 740 euros and a business between 5 000 and 44 890 euros.
