Medical marijuana activist and proclaimed Marina mayoral candidate Kevin Saunders, at times sobbing, lost a rambling bid on Thursday to lift a court order banning him from the Monterey College of Law. Saunders, who openly operates a medical marijuana growers collective in Marina, was a third-year law student whose expulsion was upheld this week for disruptive conduct — primarily emails that school officials said were aggressive, harassing and menacing.
