We are pleased to inform our readers that all the coffee shops in Maastricht closed today. As of today cities in the south of the Netherlands require Dutch nationality in order for the customers to get doped. The closure should probably be seen as a protest rather than a permanent closure. However, introducing the new rules, the Dutch government has taken a step in the right direction.
