Driving under the influence in Canada

Having read an article in Canada´s National Post there is reason to believe that drivers in Canada can continue to drive under the influence for ages while politicians, law enforcement agencies, lobbyists and others continue to get involved in the wrong debate.

As a matter of fact the DUI problem is quite easily solved. If you accept that people drive under the influence you will have to accept that people get maimed and killed. If you don´t want that to happen you have to decide that there is zero tolerance for alcohol and/or other drugs if you want to drive. It´s as simple as that. Too simple for decision makers, lobbyists and those who drive under the influence. However, the present debate in Canada, as reported by National Post, facilitates continued DUI.
