It´s legal now, so what´s the problem?

Many teens share the ignorance shown by some politicians who supported harm production by legalizing marijuana in Washington and Colorado. Kids, teens, and ignorant parents ask, It´s legal now, so what´s the problem? They obviously think that something that is legal is not dangerous. However, legal or illegal – the effects of the drug are the same. Legal pot has the same effect as its illegal colleague. That´s the problem! To pretend that legal vs. illegal is the main topic to be discussed is a red herring. What should be discussed is the potential harm caused by drugs, regardless of their legality/illegality. Doing so we could dispatch the Global Commission on Drugs, Baroness Meacher´s group, and other representatives of junk “science” to the Hall of Shame.
