Looking at the pro pot arguments in the article Washington’s marijuana legalization measure creates strange bedfellows among foes, backers gives you an idea about the stupidities on top of the pro pot ballot agenda.

A lot of fuss is made about the people supporting Initiative 502, ranging from Tacoma attorney Salvador Mungia, John McKay, former U.S. attorney for the Western District of Washington, and University of Washington professor emeritus Roger Roffman to Children’s Alliance, a statewide advocacy group for children’s interests that represents about 125 organizations.

However a bad idea doesn´t get any better regardless of who is supporting it. I-502 would make it legal for people 21 and older to possess up to an ounce of dried marijuana, a pound of marijuana-laced baked goods or other “edibles, or 72 ounces of marijuana-infused liquids.

Edward Abbey sums up what is happening pretty well: “One man alone can be pretty dumb sometimes, but for real bona fide stupidity, there ain’t nothin‘ can beat teamwork.”
