The California Medical Association (CMA) has released policy recommendations related to marijuana which would make this illegal drug widely available for “medical” and nonmedical use. Because legalization of marijuana is not in the interest of the public’s health, the Institute for Behavior and Health, Inc. (IBH) encourages the CMA to reconsider its position on a number of important issues regarding marijuana.
