Michele Leonhart as head of DEA

On Wednesday the U.S.Senate Judiciary Committee hosted a confirmation hearing for Michele Leonhart, President Obama´s nominee for head of the DEA.

Leonhart has already held the position for three years so she is more than qualified for the position. During the hearing Leonhart said she would expand anti-cartel operations in Mexico and continue to enforce federal drug laws.
