On Thursday California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger signed into law a bill, SB 1449, decriminalising possession of up to one ounce of marijuana (~ 28 grams).
Under the bill, SB 1449, possession will be regarded as an infraction, more or less comparable to a traffic ticket.
