Devon de Koker Consultancy (hereafter referred to as DDC) is both a registered Social Work Private Practice with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) and a private company with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission of South Africa (CIPC SA). The core objective of DDC is to provide effective and evidence-based substance use and mental health services on the continuum of intervention, i.e., Prevention, Early Intervention, Treatment, Aftercare & Reintegration services. The majority of DCC’s services are rendered in the Cape Town metropole and its surrounding areas and elsewhere in South Africa, as required. Furthermore, it is noted that DCC positioned itself as both a pioneer and expert in rendering evidence-based and tailor-made (i.e., context-based) services to its client systems.
On the other side of the spectrum, it is important to note that DCC is rendering services to both the primary service user and their significant others. In this, the practice always has a family system approach and is unwavering about this during intervention processes.
