Encadrement des Jeunes pour les Activités de Développement (EJAD) is a non-profit organisation founded on 6 August 2004 in Aloya-Cantine. The organisation was established by a group of young people in response to serious social and economic challenges affecting their communities, including poverty, child abandonment, homelessness, juvenile delinquency, and the impacts of HIV/AIDS and armed conflict.
EJAD’s vision is to improve the living conditions of vulnerable populations, particularly young people, women, orphans, widows, and people living with HIV. The organisation seeks to empower communities through social support, education, health promotion, vocational training, agricultural development, and income-generating activities.
