The Congolese Network of People Who Use Drugs (CNPWUD) is a Congolese non-profit organisation based in the city of Goma, North Kivu province, eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. It brings together drug professionals, including former and current drug users, from various scientific disciplines, including drug sociologists, clinical psychologists, social workers, economists, lawyers, doctors and nurses, theologians, toxicologists, and political scientists. These professionals combine their skills to provide socio-health support to individuals struggling with drug use, prevent drug use and its associated risks among children and young people, and reduce vulnerability to drug-related disorders. CNPWUD shares knowledge with children to help them develop personal skills against drugs, and of course, helps parents to support their children in developing these same skills for their overall safety.
