Afya Care Foundation is a non-profit organization in Kenya focused on improving youth mental health and preventing substance abuse. Based in Kitale, Trans-Nzoia County, it operates across five counties namely, Trans Nzoia, West Pokot, Bungoma, Busia, and Kakamega, offering mental
health counseling, psychosocial therapy, substance abuse prevention programs, and community outreach initiatives. Their activities include workshops, peer counseling, and digital mental health services, with the aim of reducing stigma and fostering healthy lifestyles among young people.
It is due to above shocking statistics that Afya Care Foundation was formed to create awareness and combat substance abuse among the youths of Kenya.
