The Initiative for Safeguarding Happiness, Innocence, Wellbeing, Love and Dignity (I’SHIELD) is a non-governmental organization established with the mission of preventing substance use, promoting mental health, and protecting human and child rights. Through advocacy, sensitisation, counseling, and community engagement, I’SHIELD continues to play a vital role in reducing the demand for drugs and related vices while safeguarding the dignity and wellbeing of individuals and communities.
Vision: A society free from the threats of substance abuse, where the rights, dignity, and wellbeing of children and adults are protected.
Mission: To address substance abuse and mental health challenges through prevention, sensitisation, counseling, treatment, and community-based interventions.
