Rafique Research & Educational Society Lodhran was established in 1996. Rafique Research & Educational Society Lodhran is avidly working for the rights of IDUs, PALWA “People living with HIV & AIDS” and those who belong to the most vulnerable group of HIV & AIDS namely Male & Female Injecting Drug User-cum-Sex workers. The Organization Aims to work with “Young Male & Female Injecting Drug Users IDUs, sex worker, Cross Genders, Man having Sex with Man”. The organization recognize three primary approaches to slowing the spread of HIV among IDU’s i. Reduce the supply and demand for drugs ii. Using education, strict Laws and inter active theatre to stop the use age of drugs. Harm Reduction which involves needle exchanges and drugs substitution interventions. The Organization seeks to make meaningful and lasting interventions for the well being of mankind. The organization has taken initiative to alleviate the root cause of many of the socio economic problems prevailing in Lodhran and Province Punjab. The RRES propagate promotion of pluralism and multi-cause orientation within Youth..RRES is not a donor-dependent, but is a donor-friendly organization that sustains its activities through financial assistance from local and overseas donors,. The Organization has proved many success sorties stories Internationally particularlay Flood Effected Project with Internally Displaced Persons IDP,s at Kot Peer Saadat.The RRES has a cohesive network Globally for the faster promotion of its development vision.
