Mapambano Centre for Children Rights is NGO stated December 2002 and registered 4th August 2004 with number 2874.The name Mapambano is kiwahili Language means <b>fighting</b> all form of child abuse. <br /><br /> <b>Mapambano Vision</b> <br /> A Tanzania where democracy and children rights are respected and protected. <br /><br /> <b>Mapambano Mission</b> <br /> To promote children rights at all levels of the community through awareness creation, lobbying, rehabilitation, service delivering and advocacy. <br /><br /> <b>Mapambano Core value</b> - To be committed and include the community in planning, running, monitoring and evaluation of our activities in <b>transparent manner</b>. <br /><br /> <b>Main activities of Mapambano</b> are Children Rights advocacy training[,HIV Prevention among children and youth, drug abuse, life skills training, sexual abuse and exploitation of children, vocational skills and support Orphans and vulnerable children. <br /><br /> About drug abuse we in mapambano train children, youth and community the effects of drug by conducting campaign and seminars. In such training we teach them the following <ul><li> Reasons for saying no to alcohol and other drugs</li><li> What is drug abuse</li><li> Warning signs of drug abuse and factors for harmful drug use and others.</li></ul>
