African youths initiative on crime prevention (AYICRIP) was founded on the 15th July 2008 but was licensed as nongovernmental/nonprofit organization in January 6th, 2011, by the Corporate Affairs Commission as registered incorporated trustee with an IT/ Reg/No with the mandate of organizing crime prevention programmes for youths across Nigeria and Africa: 42618. We are accredited by National Planning Commission, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency and National Youth Council of Nigeria.
AYICRIP is an organization that was born out of the provocation and challenge instigated by LEAP AFRICA to all her alumni members to come up with unique projects that will fix significant needs in our community and we have been making great efforts through our crime prevention programmes to positively repositioning the mindset of young people across Nigeria and Africa for the purpose of reducing crime rate in our communities and society at large.
