The RRDI started as a youth capacity development and empowerment idea especially for those in rural settings with limited opportunities. In the course of time, it was discovered that one of the greatest thieves of youth vigour, potentials, dreams and aspirations is the issue of Substance Use.

Worried at the alarming rate of youth involvement in this act, the management decided to make Substance Use Prevention a top goal and objectives. This was approved by the Board and since then, we have been actively involved in prevention activities and sensitisation in both private and public institutions. We have also linked up with other organisation with similar goals and collaborated in events.

We are proud and pleased to join the World-renowned WFAD and will do our best to surpass expectations.
