Every other year, the European Conference on Addictive Behaviours and Dependencies (also known as the Lisbon Addictions 2022) is organised. Under the overarching theme of Global Addictions, the conference will showcase the latest scientific knowledge in the domain and explore challenges relating to illicit drugs, alcohol, tobacco, screen addiction, gambling and other addictive behaviours. This year, the conference will take place between November 23rd and 25th.

Those working in the field of addictions as researchers, scientists, or practitioners are welcomed to propose abstracts for the conference. You can submit your abstract for the following tracks:

• Global perspectives on addictions and drug markets
• Prevention cultures
• Alcohol dependence and problems 
• Addictions and mental health 
• Hepatitis C, other infectious diseases and drug-related harms 
• Behavioural addictions
• Current and future challenges in global drug policy 
• Open track (for abstracts not fitting into the above categories)

The deadline to submit your abstract is January 31st, 2022

Abstracts may relate to the following presentation types: oral presentations, structured sessions, workshops, short communications and e-posters. Contributions are welcome from Europe and beyond. Don’t miss the chance to contribute to this fast-developing field!
