Various discussions were held to provide information on the drug situation in each region, the need for prevention, and [prevention] tools for educators to include in their programmes.

The discussion questions were:

  • How would you describe the drug situation in your region?
  • How is prevention helpful and which strategies should be included?
  • Do you think drug education should be added to the curriculum? Do you think it is a good strategy to aware young people about drugs?
  • Which role can teachers take in prevention strategies and which challenges are they most likely to face?
  • Any message to the teachers, parents, and young people?
